WE SPECIALIZE IN GETTING THE WORD OUT THERE.

Below you'll find some examples of our successes.

Smoothie SELFIE Day - Tropical Smoothie Cafe

As one of our most successful promotions, Smoothie Selfie Day is a perfect example of how our design, event planning, social media management, and public relations services can come together to drive traffic to your next grand opening.

The concept itself was simple. We invited Southern California locals to take a selfie at Tropical Smoothie’s First California Grand Opening in Lake Forest and in return receive a complimentary smoothie. This was developed to increase in-store consumer traffic and create top-of-mind brand awareness within the Southern California market. However, the results were huge. Guests were enamored by the photo kiosk and encouraged to share their #smoothieselfie on social media (Instagram, Twitter, & Facebook) and in one day participants had generated over 24,300 impressions.

Significant media outreach was also achieved. We pitched to local writers, bloggers, and social media influencers for inclusion on their platforms. There was a dedicated OC Foodies email promoting Smoothie Selife Day that reached over 30K opt-in subscribers in Orange County. The Grand Opening and Smoothie Selife promotion also appeared on OC Weekly (453K Monthly Views), The Examiner (6.45M Monthly Views), EatDrinkOC.com (1.62K Monthly Views), and the Where Weekend Roundup (8.5k opt-in subscribers). 10 bloggers, writers, and social media influences also joined us to witness the ribbon cutting. Their posts and Instagrams of the delicious new Tropical Smoothie menu generated hundreds of likes and social engagements.

To promote the event we developed eye-catching collateral materials with our graphic designers that matched Tropical Smoothie’s brand. These materials included postcards, social media ads, invitations, photo frames and a step-and-repeat. On the day of the event the step-and-repeat, a digital photo kiosk, and a pair of palm tree balloons were set up strategically to be seen from passing cars. The photo customers took with the kiosk even included a frame with Tropical Smoothie’s logo to create even more brand awareness and encourage their friends to attend the grand opening to receive their own complimentary smoothie.

Due to the success of the event, we later implemented similar events at Tropical Smoothie grand openings in Irvine and Foothill Ranch, CA.

A Little Bit About Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen:

The California-Latin inspired menu adapts the culinary heritage of Mexico and Latin America to a fresh modern style. In the open kitchen guests can watch savory dishes being prepared in the wood-fired oven, while free-range Jidori chickens roast to perfection and tacos are topped with homemade fire-roasted salsas.

In the lounge, the lively sound of handcrafted cocktails being shaken provides the backdrop. These tequila libations utilize freshly made juices, house-made infusions, and fresh seasonal fruit. A variety of popular and boutique wineries from the Central Coast, Spain and South America also add a great compliment to any meal.

This energetic Mexican restaurant in Brea Downtown is always busting with the sounds of its popular happy hour, live Latin bands and the conversations of friends and family. For more information visitwww.ChaChasLatinKitchen.com or call (714) 240-1040. Cha Cha's is located at 110 W. Birch St., Brea, CA, 92821.

Our scope isn’t just limited to grand openings! By leveraging our design resources, our flair for email blasts, our social media management skills, and our wealth of creativity, we can create on-site promotions to drive traffic and press to your restaurant or hotel.

One of our most successful promotions in the last year was February 22nd, National Margarita Day. In celebration of the boozy holiday we created a one-day promotion engineered to leverage love for Cha Cha’s award-winning margaritas in order to drive traffic to the Brea restaurant on one of the slowest nights of the week - Monday. The promotion centered on offering all of their signature Grande Margaritas for only $10, including the Cha Cha’s Margarita, The Classic, and the Mango-Habanero. However, to complete the party atmosphere, live Latin music and all-day happy hour specials were offered as well.

By utilizing Facebook Marketing, email blasts, and beautiful collateral materials developed with our graphic designers, we got the word out prior to the event. However, our success is most apparent in the day-of social media engagement. National Margarita Day was a trending topic on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter throughout the day as we had anticipated. This helped inspire social media users to go out after work and grab a Margarita. All we had to do was inspire them to grab said margarita at Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen. We capitalized on this by inviting a dozen Social Media Influences in the early evening to experience and photograph Cha Cha’s hand-crafted margaritas made with fresh, seasonal juice and 100% blue agave tequila. Their social media and blog posts inspired their followers to come and celebrate National Margarita Day at Cha Cha’s.

"Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen sales were up 183% over the same Monday in 2015. It was a perfect day for such a huge incremental increase being that it was on a Monday. Great conceptually for Cha Cha's as well to bring attention to our high-quality and award-winning margaritas," Don Myers, owner of Cha Cha's.

Not only did this promotion result in an unparalleled increase in sales, the hundreds of impressions generated helped create top-of-mind brand awareness for Cha Cha’s in the Brea community and beyond.

CHOWDER FOR A CAUSE - FLY'N'FISH OYSTER BAR

We don't always use our powers to stockpile our clients’ bank accounts. Sometimes we use our social media savvy, our press connections, and our creativity for the greater good! As active volunteers in several local organizations, Ajenda PR is always looking for ways to help the community that’s been so good to us.

So when our clients Rick and Steve Loomis, owners of Fly’N’Fish Oyster Bar, came to us wanting to give back we figured out the perfect way: Clam Chowder. Fly’N’Fish has a popular award-winning bowl of chowder and we thought what better way for them to give back than to donate the proceeds of every bowl! Once the idea was formed, sustainable seafood provider Santa Monica Seafood stepped in and donated all the clams for the cause. The wheels were in motion for success and ‘Chowder For a Cause’ was launched in October, strategically coinciding with National Seafood Month.
It just so happens the Newport Beach population has a thing for chowder. With heavy social media and press promotion, the month-long philanthropic initiative raised $10,000 for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Fly’N’Fish was recognized in the OC Register and the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital website and email blast. You can read the story for yourself here.

Owner Steve Loomis had this to say about the fundraiser: ““It’s the first time we have ever done anything like this. I was very surprised by the outlook with it, in the sense of how many people said it was a wonderful idea. My brother and I, and my chef, are very grateful that we were able to participate in this.”

We hope to present a similar fundraiser in the future to continue to raise awareness and donations for this wonderful organization.
